1. HOW DO YOU PLAY POINT SPREAD?

It's fun and easy to play. Each game is handicapped with a point spread. The objective is to predict the outcome of two to 12 sporting events choosing either a visitor win or home win. Players can wager from $2 to $100.

2. WHICH SPORTS CAN I WAGER ON WITH POINT SPREAD?

With POINT SPREAD, you can wager on pro football, college football, college basketball, baseball and hockey. All selections for a wager must be on the same sport.

3. WHAT IS A “PUSH”?

A push occurs when the point differential at the end of the game equals the spread number. When a push occurs the prize payout is reduced to the next lowest payout factor.

4. WHY DO I HAVE TO WAGER ON THREE EVENTS FOR PRO•LINE, BUT I CAN PLAY TWO GAMES WITH POINT SPREAD?

We are always looking at ways to enhance our sports games, and we've designed POINT SPREAD with the two event wager option.

5. WHY DOES THE POINT SPREAD LOGO HAVE + AND – WHEN ALL POINT SPREAD RESULTS ARE IN THE NEGATIVE?

The positive sign and negative sign in the logo are symbolic of the favoured and not favoured team on the event list.

6. WILL THERE ALWAYS BE 12 EVENTS AVAILABLE FOR WAGERING?

We always try to give our players as much choice as possible. With the number of events from each sports that can be played in any given week, we may not always be able to offer up to 12 events for a sport.

7. WHY ARE THERE LIMITS ON POINT SPREAD SALES TO INDIVIDUAL CUSTOMERS?

We must have various controls in order protect the financial integrity of POINT SPREAD. These controls include the limits on POINT SPREAD and PRO•LINE sales to individual customers, daily maximums for each retail account, and maximum payouts. We must be able to keep the financial risk at an acceptable level or we will not be able to offer sports wagering games. We know and appreciate that these limits can at times be difficult for players to understand.

8. WHAT HAPPENS TO MY TICKET WHEN AN EVENT IS POSTPONED OR CANCELLED?

Under POINT SPREAD rules, whenever an event offered for wagering is considered incomplete by the Corporation, the potential prize payout is reduced to the next lowest prize factor.

9. WHY CAN'T I COMBINE SELECTIONS ON DIFFERENT SPORTS WHEN MAKING A POINT SPREAD WAGER?

POINT SPREAD is designed to offer wagering on specific sports. Allowing for combinations of events from different sports would make the game unmanageable. Some sports, such as soccer, are not suitable to a POINT SPREAD wager as scoring is typically too close to be able to set a spread.

While PRO•LINE allows for combining sports, all selections on a PRO•LINE wager must be correct to win unlike POINT SPREAD where players can win without having to be correct on all selections (e.g. for 9 correct selections out of 10, for 10 correct selections out of 11, etc.).

NOTE: Although you cannot combine College football with either of the professional football leagues, you can combine American and Canadian professional football on one ticket.
