MAPLE RESIDENT SHEDS HAPPY TEARS AFTER WINNING $1 MILLION WITH ENCORE

Toronto, ONErnest (Ernie) Villeneuve of Maple has a million reasons to celebrate after winning $1 million with ENCORE (September 13, 2017 LOTTO 6/49 draw).

After dropping his wife off at work, the 64 year old tractor trailer driver stopped at a gas station to check his ticket. “I put my ticket in the self-checker and saw the words ‘Big Winner’ come up on the screen. I was speechless. I thought I was seeing things!” laughed Ernie, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim his prize.

“I went straight back to my wife’s work to share the news. When she saw me she thought she had forgotten something in the car but then she saw my happy tears and she knew something great had happened,” continued Ernie.

The father of two plans to pay off his mortgage, pay off other bills and help his daughter out with the costs of her upcoming wedding. “I’d also like to take my wife to Italy. We’ve done lots of little road trips but now we can travel wherever we want!” concluded Ernie.

The winning ticket was purchased at Esso on Highway 7 in Vaughan.
