STOKES BAY RESIDENT WINS $1 MILLION MAXMILLIONS PRIZE WITH LOTTO MAX

Toronto, ON – Janina Michalczyk of Stokes Bay had no idea that she held a winning ticket worth $1 million for the September 22, 2017 LOTTO MAX draw.

“I checked my ticket against the numbers online and only looked at the jackpot number. My ticket didn’t match so I figured I didn’t win anything,” shared Janina, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her cheque. “Later while using the ticker checker at the store to check some other tickets, I scanned my LOTTO MAX ticket too just in case. And then I saw that I was a ‘Big Winner!’”

Janina shared the news with her husband first. “I showed him the validation slip. He was so excited and just started shouting with joy. We called our three sons soon after to share the good news,” laughed Janina.

“We will be picking up our new luxury SUV right away,” smiled Janina. “And we’ll be mortgage free now too!”

“Winning the lottery feels like ‘phew!’ I feel free with no burdens and look forward to relaxing and enjoying all the days to come,” concluded Janina.

The winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada on Clarke Side Road in London.

I feel free with no burdens and look forward to relaxing and enjoying all the days to come.
